Erajaya is Indonesiaâs leading distributor and retailer of consumer electronics, and weâre looking for a Back End Developer (Talent Pool) - Supervisor to join our innovative technology team in Jakarta. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding backend development initiatives, shaping architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of highâquality, scalable services that power our digital ecosystem.
You will work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to design and implement robust APIs, optimize database performance, and maintain the security and reliability of our platforms. By conducting regular code reviews and championing best practices, youâll help raise the overall technical bar across the department.

- Lead and oversee backend development projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding best practices, and drive continuous improvement in code quality.
- Design and implement scalable, highâperformance APIs and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teamsâincluding product, QA, and DevOpsâto deliver endâtoâend solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in architecture and technology selection discussions, providing strategic technical direction.
- Ensure system security, reliability, and performance meet organizational standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of handsâon backend development experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills and ability to work in a fastâpaced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
