Tanggung Jawab
- Set up, program, and operate CNC press brakes and other bending machines to form sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine bending sequence and machine adjustments.
- Perform in-process and final quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, protractors, height gauges) to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, identify root causes, and perform minor maintenance or adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
- Select and install appropriate tooling (dies and punches) for various bending operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and engineers to optimize processes and improve product quality and efficiency.
- Document production activities, including completed work, quality issues, and machine maintenance records.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining, metal fabrication, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bending Technician, Press Brake Operator, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating CNC press brakes and familiarity with various bending techniques and materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel).
- Strong ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated understanding of different tooling types and their applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, precise components.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations for angles, bends, and material deductions.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
