The Role
You will be instrumental in managing the financial heartbeat of our operations, ensuring the seamless execution of the billing cycle for our diverse portfolio of logistics services including sea freight, air freight, and warehousing. You will ensure every transaction is captured correctly, every discount is applied precisely, and every invoice aligns with service agreements. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage high-volume transactions, maintain strict deadlines, and continuously improve our billing processes. From generating accurate invoices for international clients to reconciling complex accounts and resolving customer queries, your work will directly impact our cash flow and client relationships. Furthermore, you will play a key role in month-end closing activities and contribute to financial reporting.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare, issue, and manage invoices, credit notes, and debit notes for freight forwarding and logistics services efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile billing transactions with operational data, carrier invoices, and customer purchase orders to ensure zero discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and actively follow up on outstanding collections to optimize cash flow.
- Handle customer billing inquiries professionally via email and phone, resolving disputes and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end closing by preparing billing summaries, revenue reports, and journal entries for management review.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all billing documents, ensuring full compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the operations, sales, and customer service teams to improve the order-to-cash process and enhance customer satisfaction.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (preferred for client communication).
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in a billing, accounts receivable, or finance-related role. Experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially high proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Autocount, SQL, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail, organized, and able to handle high volumes of data entry with speed and accuracy.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
