We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the West Region. In this pivotal role, you will assist in driving the successful implementation and compliance of all system and processes across our BIM projects. You will serve as a key technical resource, ensuring that Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards are rigorously applied and that models facilitate efficient project delivery.
As a BIM Coordinator at WSP, you will work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration. Your expertise will help in reducing errors, improving coordination, and ensuring that all project stakeholders have access to accurate, up-to-date information. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about technology in construction and is eager to contribute to the success of our diverse portfolio of projects.
Tanggung Jawab
- Drive the implementation and compliance of BIM systems, standards, and processes across all projects to ensure consistency and quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries, coordinating effectively with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Perform rigorous quality control checks on 3D models, drawings, and documents to verify accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution sessions to identify and mitigate potential design conflicts before construction.
- Train and mentor project team members on BIM software usage, workflows, and best practices.
- Manage and organize BIM libraries, templates, and master files to ensure efficient asset management.
- Prepare and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability between different software platforms and disciplines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a BIM Coordinator or similar role within the construction or engineering sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (required) and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of BIM collaboration tools such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or Procore.
- Deep understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 19650, AIA G201/G202).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Relevant certifications in BIM or Revit are highly desirable.
