Are you a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a passion for Australian accounting standards? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team to support our growing Australian client base. This is a 100% remote opportunity that offers flexibility and the chance to work with a dynamic, fast-paced international client.
As our Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our client's financial operations. You will leverage your expertise in Xero to ensure accuracy in ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. We are looking for someone who is proactive, tech-savvy, and comfortable working across time zones to provide seamless financial support. If you have a solid background in cloud-based accounting and a keen eye for numbers, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform end-to-end bookkeeping tasks using Xero for Australian-based clients.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Conduct weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Manage payroll processing and superannuation calculations in accordance with AU tax requirements.
- Monitor and process BAS (Business Activity Statement) preparation and reporting.
- Maintain clean and organized digital records of all financial transactions.
- Communicate regularly with the client to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, specifically managing Australian client accounts.
- Proficiency in Xero is non-negotiable; certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Australian GST and BAS compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience with other cloud tools like Dext, Hubdoc, or ADP is a plus.
- Stable internet connection and a conducive home-office setup.
