From humble beginnings as a tug and barge operator, the Company has transformed into a strong regional player in the Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) industry. We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bosun to join our growing maritime team and drive our operations forward in the dynamic offshore sector.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all deck activities. You will ensure that daily operations run smoothly, that safety standards are upheld to the highest level, and that the vessel is maintained in excellent condition. As a key leader on board, you will guide a team of deck hands and ensure compliance with both company policies and international maritime regulations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate daily deck operations, watchkeeping duties, and cargo handling.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and emergency procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the vessel's hull, rigging, and safety equipment to ensure readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the deck area, superstructure, and crew quarters.
- Train and mentor junior deck crew members on proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain necessary logs, reports, and inventories.
- Assist the Chief Officer or Master in navigating and managing vessel systems.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Indonesian Seaman's Book (SKKNI) and relevant maritime certificates.
- Proven experience working as a Bosun or similar deck rating position on offshore support vessels.
- STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) certification is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a deck crew effectively.
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging maritime environments.
- Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written) is preferred.
