We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Breeder Farm Assistant Manager / Manager (Poultry) to join our agricultural team in Negeri Sembilan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our breeder farm, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality hatching eggs. You will play a critical part in maintaining the health, welfare, and productivity of our parent stock, directly impacting the success of our hatchery operations.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal husbandry and a strong commitment to biosecurity and farm safety standards. You will manage a team of farm workers, coordinate daily feeding and cleaning schedules, and monitor the overall condition of the poultry flocks. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily breeder farm operations to ensure production targets for hatching eggs are met.
- Monitor the health and well-being of parent stock, identifying and addressing any signs of illness or stress promptly.
- Implement and enforce strict biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
- Manage feed inventory and ensure proper nutrition programs are followed for optimal egg quality.
- Supervise and train farm staff, conducting regular performance evaluations and safety briefings.
- Maintain farm facilities and equipment, ensuring they are clean, functional, and safe for use.
- Record production data, mortality rates, and feed conversion ratios to optimize farm efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, or a related agricultural field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in poultry farming or livestock management.
- Strong knowledge of poultry breeding cycles, incubation, and hatchery management.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks on the farm.
- Valid Malaysian driving license is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
