PMC Facilities & Real Estate Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive and skilled Building Technician to join our dedicated property management team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and performance.
As a Building Technician, you will play a crucial role in preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting complex system issues, and working collaboratively with site teams to deliver an exceptional environment for our tenants and clients. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility infrastructure to identify potential hazards or repair needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, lighting issues, and basic plumbing or HVAC problems.
- Assist in the supervision of external contractors and service providers during specialized repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory records for spare parts and equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or an equivalent technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance or facility operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, power distribution, and low-voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Proficiency in using standard hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be willing to perform shift work or standby duties as required by the property schedule.
