In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between operational logistics and commercial strategy, utilizing data to drive profitability and competitive advantage in the global shipping market.
As our Business & Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining our pricing models, conducting deep-dive cost analyses, and providing actionable business intelligence to our senior management team. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the technical prowess to turn complex raw data into clear, strategic roadmaps for growth.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dynamic pricing models to ensure regional and international competitiveness.
- Perform comprehensive cost-benefit analysis on current logistics routes and service offerings.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to translate market trends into actionable pricing strategies.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market movements to provide proactive recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, performance dashboards, and data-driven insights for executive decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with fluctuating shipping costs and operational overheads.
- Support the annual budgeting process by forecasting revenue impacts of various pricing scenarios.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, pricing strategy, or logistics management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, freight forwarding, or supply chain management is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
