In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our supply chain, ensuring the consistent quality and availability of fruit inventory to meet our operational standards.
As a Buyer Executive, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes, from vendor sourcing and price negotiation to inventory management. You will work closely with suppliers to maintain strong relationships while ensuring that all fresh produce meets our stringent quality and safety requirements. Tanggung Jawab
- Identify and source high-quality fruit suppliers to ensure consistent supply and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors to optimize procurement costs.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking of perishable items.
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming produce to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Analyze market trends and fruit seasonality to forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier performance documentation.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and storage of goods.
- Address and resolve any supply issues or quality discrepancies promptly.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the FMCG or fresh produce industry.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, for data tracking and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to interact with diverse suppliers.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail, especially regarding quality control.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Willingness to travel to local sites as required for site visits or supplier assessments.
