In this role, you will play a vital part in our production lifecycle, ensuring that our food manufacturing operations run seamlessly by securing high-quality raw materials and essential supplies on time and within budget.
As our Buyer, you will act as the bridge between our production needs and our vendor network. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady, cost-effective, and quality-assured inventory. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and packaging supplies required for food production.
- Source and evaluate new potential vendors to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality standards.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs and ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to prevent stockouts and minimize excess.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular supplier performance audits to ensure consistent adherence to quality and service level agreements.
- Resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, shipping, and quality issues with vendors promptly.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on cost-reduction strategies and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
