Tanggung Jawab
- Research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform buying decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal product quality and pricing
- Monitor inventory levels and sales data to make informed purchasing decisions and maintain optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for new and existing products
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for the company
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging fashion trends in the sports retail sector
- Participate in trade shows and fashion events to discover new products and networking opportunities
- Ensure all purchases align with Giordano's brand identity and quality standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a buyer or merchandising role, preferably in the retail or sports industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable deals with suppliers
- Deep understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Keen eye for fashion trends and product aesthetics relevant to the sports retail market
- Proficiency in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite
