As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the front of the store with efficiency and professionalism. Your duties will include processing sales transactions accurately, handling cash and digital payments, and maintaining a tidy checkout area. We value integrity and accuracy above all else; therefore, strict adherence to cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) protocols is essential. Beyond the register, you will also assist in inventory management and ensuring the sales floor remains organized and inviting for all shoppers. Tanggung Jawab
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments while ensuring proper change and maintaining accurate daily reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor environment.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy and procedure.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register and assist in stock replenishment when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak business hours.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in business or retail is a plus.
- Proven experience working as a Cashier or in a retail customer service role.
- Strong numerical skills with a proven track record of high accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS software.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional appearance.
