Tanggung Jawab
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly as they approach the checkout area and provide assistance with product inquiries.
- Ensure the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of every shift.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers with high precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the checkout counter and surrounding areas.
- Cross-sell products and inform customers about ongoing promotions or loyalty programs.
- Assist with light inventory management and restocking of items near the checkout zone during off-peak hours.
- Handle customer complaints or returns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Possess at least an SPM certificate or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar retail role is highly preferred.
- Strong basic mathematical skills to handle transactions and provide correct change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Malay and/or English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays on a shift basis.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic computer literacy to navigate the store's retail management software.
