Tanggung Jawab

  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions efficiently.
  • Greet customers warmly as they approach the checkout area and provide assistance with product inquiries.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of every shift.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers with high precision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the checkout counter and surrounding areas.
  • Cross-sell products and inform customers about ongoing promotions or loyalty programs.
  • Assist with light inventory management and restocking of items near the checkout zone during off-peak hours.
  • Handle customer complaints or returns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Kualifikasi

  • Possess at least an SPM certificate or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar retail role is highly preferred.
  • Strong basic mathematical skills to handle transactions and provide correct change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Malay and/or English.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays on a shift basis.
  • Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Basic computer literacy to navigate the store's retail management software.
