- Develop and execute category strategies for Beauty and Personal Care products aligned with market trends and consumer preferences
- Source, evaluate, and select appropriate products from suppliers while negotiating favorable terms and conditions
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform buying decisions and assortment planning
- Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to create compelling in-store and online product displays
- Monitor inventory levels, plan promotional activities, and optimize product mix to maximize profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure product availability and quality
- Prepare regular reports on category performance, sales trends, and market opportunities
- Stay updated on industry developments, new product launches, and regulatory requirements in the beauty sector
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Category Buyer or Merchandiser in the Beauty and Personal Care industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities
- Deep knowledge of Malaysian beauty market, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape
- Proficiency in retail planning systems and data analysis tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
