- Lead the demand forecasting and planning process for assigned appliance categories to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability.
- Analyze sales trends, promotional calendars, and market dynamics to develop accurate short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with the procurement and merchandising teams to align inventory strategies with business goals and supplier capabilities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, stock turnover, and fill rates, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Manage category-level assortment planning, including product lifecycle management, new product introductions, and phase-out strategies.
- Partner with the marketing team to integrate promotional plans into the demand planning model, anticipating spikes and managing trade inventory.
- Conduct root cause analysis on forecast variances and implement continuous improvement initiatives in the planning process.
- Prepare and present regular demand review reports to management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or category management, preferably within a retail or consumer goods environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, statistical modeling) is mandatory.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA/Blue Yonder) and demand planning software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple product categories simultaneously.
