Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the hotel's accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
- Prepare and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
- Ensure strict compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations (e.g., SST), and corporate financial policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Manage the budgeting process, monitor departmental expenditures against budget, and provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making processes to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or Chief Accountant position, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax laws, and financial reporting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., Opera, SAP, SunSystems) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with various departments.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
