Are you a seasoned Chief Engineer seeking a challenging contract opportunity in the offshore energy sector? We are currently looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team aboard an AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) vessel. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the vessel's mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring maximum uptime and safety. As the Chief Engineer, you will lead the engineering department, oversee the maintenance schedule, and ensure strict compliance with international maritime regulations and company standards. If you possess extensive experience with 12,000 BHP vessels and hold the necessary certifications, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee all engineering operations and maintenance on board the vessel.
- Ensure strict compliance with DPVM (Dynamic Positioning Vessel Master) and maritime safety regulations.
- Lead the engineering crew, conducting daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all machinery and systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Coordinate with the Master and Chief Officer regarding vessel status and technical requirements.
- Manage inventories of spares and consumables to ensure budget adherence.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports for regulatory audits.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AHTS DP2 vessels, specifically 12,000 BHP ratings.
- Mandatory Certificates: DPVM (Dynamic Positioning Vessel Master) is required.
- Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF) and Basic Safety Training certificates.
- STCW 2010 certificates (Security Awareness, Proficiency in Survival Craft, etc.).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
