Diamond H Marine Svcs. & Shipping Agency Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief/Single Engineer to join our expanding fleet of Bulk Carriers and General Cargo Coasters. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the vessel's engineering plant, ensuring optimal performance across all trade routes.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all main engines, auxiliary engines, and vessel machinery.
- Manage the Engine Department, including crew scheduling, safety training, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate engineering logs, maintenance records, and inventory of spare parts in compliance with company and international maritime regulations.
- Coordinate with the bridge team to ensure smooth propulsion operations and adherence to voyage schedules.
- Implement and oversee strict safety management systems (SMS) and environmental compliance protocols.
- Monitor fuel and lube oil consumption, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and emergency drills to ensure the engine room is always prepared for inspections and unforeseen technical issues.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as Chief Engineer (Unrestricted) issued in accordance with STCW 2010.
- Significant sea service experience on Bulk Carriers or General Cargo vessels.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international maritime laws (SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC).
- Strong proficiency in engine room automation, electrical systems, and shipboard hydraulics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage multinational engine crews effectively.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for reporting and administrative duties.
- Medically fit and holding valid seafarer documentation (Seaman’s Book, Passport, etc.).
