This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and clinical excellence of all nursing services within the hospital.

In this capacity, you will partner closely with the Hospital Director, medical staff, and executive leadership to formulate and execute nursing strategies that align with KPJ's organizational goals. You will champion innovation in care delivery, optimize operational workflows, and manage the nursing budget effectively. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in guiding the hospital through accreditation surveys (MSQH/JCI) and ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Malaysian Nursing Board.

Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department, aligning objectives with the hospital's overall vision and mission.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing standards, policies, and procedures to ensure evidence-based, safe, and effective patient care.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and patient safety programs, actively monitoring key performance indicators and clinical outcomes.
- Manage the nursing workforce, including recruitment, retention, staffing levels, scheduling, and performance management to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development by mentoring nurse managers, facilitating training programs, and supporting career progression.
- Collaborate with medical, administrative, and support services to ensure seamless, integrated patient care delivery across all departments.
- Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring financial prudence while maintaining the highest standards of care and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, accreditation standards (e.g., MSQH, JCI), and professional nursing regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Master's in Nursing Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field is highly preferred).
- Valid registration with the Malaysian Nursing Board (Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia) and a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior nursing leadership or management role in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA).
- Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning within a healthcare operation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and build effective teams across diverse disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of hospital accreditation standards (MSQH, JCI, SIRIM) and healthcare regulations in Malaysia.
- Experience in change management and driving innovative practices in nursing care delivery.
