- Prepare and submit customs documentation for international shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations
- Communicate with customs authorities to clear shipments efficiently and resolve any issues that arise
- Provide expert advice to clients on import/export requirements, tariffs, and regulations
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of clearance documentation
- Maintain detailed records of all clearance activities and documentation for audit purposes
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and procedures affecting international shipping
- Investigate and resolve customs discrepancies, including duty calculations and classification issues
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customs brokerage or international trade compliance
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Proficiency in customs clearance software and Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation
- Professional certification in customs brokerage (e.g., Certified Customs Professional) is preferred
