Join MR.DIY's dynamic construction team as a Clerk of Work specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems. This critical on-site role ensures seamless execution of technical infrastructure projects across our retail expansion sites in Kajang, Bangi, and Serdang. You'll be the technical liaison between engineering teams, contractors, and project managers, guaranteeing installations align with blueprints, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This position offers hands-on experience in Malaysia's rapidly growing retail construction sector, with opportunities to advance into senior technical supervision roles. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and inspect mechanical/electrical installations for compliance with technical specifications and safety protocols
- Coordinate site activities between contractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
- Review and approve technical drawings, material submissions, and equipment certifications
- Prepare daily progress reports and quality inspection documentation
- Investigate and resolve technical discrepancies during construction phase
- Ensure adherence to local building codes and environmental regulations
- Manage M&E material inventory and procurement tracking on-site
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in M&E site supervision or clerk of work role
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and engineering schematics
- Familiarity with Malaysian construction standards and regulations (BQTP, CIDB)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Certification in construction safety management (e.g., OSHA, IOSH) preferred
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel between project sites
