Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular and thorough site inspections to ensure work is carried out in accordance with design specifications, drawings, and statutory regulations (e.g., UBBL).
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring they meet the required standards and approved samples.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, defects, or deviations from project plans to the Project Manager and relevant consultants.
- Verify progress of works on site against the project schedule and report on any delays or issues.
- Attend site meetings, providing technical input and updates on quality control matters.
- Review contractor's submissions, method statements, and shop drawings for compliance with design intent.
- Liaise effectively with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve site-related issues.
- Maintain comprehensive records of site activities, inspection reports, progress photos, and communications.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Clerk of Works or Site Supervisor in large-scale building construction projects.
- Specialized knowledge and experience in either Architecture, C&S, or M&E works are essential.
- Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction standards in Malaysia.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Proficiency in generating detailed inspection reports and maintaining accurate site documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse project teams.
- Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Johor Bahru, Johor are highly preferred.
