Tanggung Jawab
- Assign accurate ICD-10/CM and CPT codes to mental health diagnoses, procedures, and services
- Perform regular coding audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Analyze clinical documentation to resolve coding ambiguities and ensure optimal reimbursement
- Support healthcare analytics initiatives by providing coded data for quality improvement projects
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, payer requirements, and mental health terminology
- Collaborate with clinicians to clarify documentation and ensure accurate code assignment
- Participate in training programs to enhance coding skills and stay current with industry changes
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related healthcare field
- Professional coding certification (CCS, CPC, or CIC) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical coding experience, preferably in mental health or psychiatry
- Proficiency in ICD-10/CM and CPT coding conventions and guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software
