Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive chart reviews and audits to ensure accurate and complete clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and coders to clarify clinical queries and improve documentation practices.
- Ensure compliance with ICD-10 coding guidelines and hospital policies to minimize coding discrepancies.
- Analyze trends in documentation to drive process improvements and enhance revenue integrity.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and educational workshops to stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Work with the coding team to resolve documentation queries and facilitate timely chart completion.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Health Information Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement, coding, or healthcare revenue cycle management.
- Proficient understanding of ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT, and HCC coding principles.
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to interpret complex medical records.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective query resolution.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus.
