Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic formulations for a diverse patient population.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions and treatment plans, including individual and group therapy.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute psychological distress.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, professional conduct, and the principles set forth by Klinik Mewah 6 (KM6) and Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF).
Kualifikasi
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a valid practicing license or registration with relevant professional bodies in Malaysia.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in clinical psychology, preferably in a hospital or private clinic setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of psychotherapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills with a strong patient-centred approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional local languages is a plus.
