As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological services. You will specialise in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, formulating individualised treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions for a wide range of mental health conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and developmental challenges in both children and adults. Collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure holistic patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in clinical psychology, with demonstrated experience or a strong interest in trauma psychology and/or paediatric psychology. Registration or eligibility for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) is required, along with a relevant Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. - Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Develop and implement evidence-based, individualised treatment plans using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT.
- Provide specialised trauma-focused therapy for clients with complex post-traumatic stress and related disorders.
- Deliver paediatric psychological services, addressing developmental, behavioural, and emotional challenges.
- Perform crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments as needed, ensuring patient safety and appropriate care pathways.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational therapists to coordinate holistic care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records and written reports in accordance with professional and legal standards.
- Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and training sessions for clients, families, and community partners to promote mental health awareness.
Kualifikasi
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university.
- Full registration or eligibility for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
- Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification clinical experience, with specific experience in trauma and/or paediatric psychology highly valued.
- Advanced training and certification in trauma-focused therapies (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT) is an advantage.
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents presenting with a range of psychological difficulties.
- Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines of the profession.
