Job Description
MCGA DEBT COLLECTION OPC, a premier debt recovery firm in the Philippines, is looking for an experienced and driven Collections Team Leader to join our growing operations team in Ortigas. In this critical leadership role, you will directly manage a team of collection specialists handling top-tier local bank and fintech portfolios.
You will be responsible for driving team performance, ensuring strict adherence to BSP collection guidelines, and implementing effective strategies to maximize debt recovery while maintaining excellent customer relationships. This role requires a hands-on leader who can mentor agents, analyze performance data, and consistently meet aggressive collection targets.
Your Key Priorities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing collections team.
- Ensure team compliance with BSP regulations and client service level agreements.
- Develop action plans to improve collection efficiency and reduce delinquency rates.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Handle complex account escalations and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Prepare and present regular team performance reports to management.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of collection agents to achieve daily and monthly performance targets.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize debt recovery while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Ensure full compliance with BSP regulations, company policies, and client-specific standard operating procedures.
- Monitor team KPIs including call metrics, promise-to-pay conversion, and overall unit delinquency rates.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- Handle escalated customer accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve complex disputes.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely performance reports and client updates.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to forecast needs and optimize resource allocation.
Kualifikasi
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Collections Team Leader or similar supervisory role in debt recovery.
- Demonstrated experience working with Local Bank or Fintech accounts (strictly required).
- Native / Fluent in Tagalog (oral and written) and highly proficient in English.
- In-depth knowledge of BSP debt collection regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding collection targets and KPIs.
- Excellent people management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Willing to work on a Dayshift schedule at our Ortigas, Metro Manila office.
- College degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be highly considered.
