Are you a strategic leader with a strong background in the built environment? MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. is looking for a highly skilled Commercial Manager (M&E Industry) to oversee the financial and contractual health of our diverse portfolio of projects. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading all commercial and financial matters for our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to drive commercial excellence from the initial tender phase through to post-contract completion. You will play a critical role in managing contracts, variations, claims, and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations in the Singapore construction market.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage all commercial and financial operations for M&E projects, covering both pre- and post-contract phases.
- Oversee contract administration, including the preparation of tender documents, main contracts, and sub-contracts.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost control measures to ensure profitability and financial efficiency.
- Manage variations, claims, and disputes in collaboration with the project team and external legal counsel.
- Prepare and present accurate commercial reports, forecasts, and management accounts to senior management and clients.
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and commercial alignment.
- Ensure strict adherence to local construction regulations, company policies, and contract terms.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in the M&E construction industry, preferably with experience in the Singapore market.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in contract management, cost control, and claims handling.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, or local Singapore standard forms).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant project management or construction accounting software.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, PMP) are highly desirable.
