In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in the daily production of a diverse range of pastry and bakery items. From perfecting classic viennoiserie and artisan breads to crafting intricate plated desserts and seasonal specialties, your work will directly impact guest satisfaction. You will provide critical support to our Executive Pastry Chef and the production team, ensuring that all tasks from preparation to final plating are executed flawlessly. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the entire pastry production workflow, rigorously maintaining product quality and consistency, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the workspace, and contributing to a seamless, efficient operational flow. You will also be expected to learn and master new techniques, manage your station effectively, and communicate proactively within the team.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts according to standardized recipes and specifications.
- Ensure the highest level of quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with HACCP and company policies.
- Support senior pastry team members during service hours and high-volume production periods.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
- Contribute ideas for new pastries, seasonal menu items, and innovative desserts.
- Participate in daily team briefings and foster a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Commis Pastry or similar role in a hotel, restaurant, or dedicated bakery.
- Formal culinary education or diploma in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts.
- Strong foundational knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and pastry methods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering flawless products.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle the physical demands of the role.
