Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of desserts, pastries, and artisanal breads.
  • Ensure all workstations are kept clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Prepare high-quality ingredients and basic components according to standardized recipes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in reporting shortages to the kitchen management team.
  • Manage the proper storage and labeling of all pastry products to minimize waste and ensure quality.
  • Support the team during high-volume service periods to ensure timely dessert output.
  • Participate in recipe testing and creative menu development as directed by the Head Pastry Chef.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or pastry environment.
  • Formal education in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
  • Basic knowledge of dough handling, cake decoration, and dessert plating techniques.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical stamina required for working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods.
