Creative Business Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Company Secretary Executive / Secretary Assistant to support our corporate secretarial team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining statutory documentation, ensuring compliance with the Malaysian Companies Act 2016, and coordinating with regulatory bodies such as the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).

You will handle the preparation and lodgement of directors' and shareholders' resolutions, maintain the company's statutory registers, and manage the timely filing of annual returns and other required documents. Working closely with senior management, you will support board meetings by drafting agendas, minutes, and correspondence, and ensure that all corporate records are up to date and accurately reflect the company's activities.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare and file statutory documents, including directors' and members' resolutions, with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
  • Maintain and update statutory registers, minute books, and corporate records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and support board meetings, including drafting agendas, minutes, and related correspondence.
  • Ensure timely lodgement of annual returns, changes in directorship, and other mandatory filings.
  • Monitor changes in corporate legislation and advise management on compliance implications.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for corporate transactions, such as share transfers and alterations.
  • Provide administrative support to the secretarial team and handle confidential information with discretion.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a company secretarial role or administrative support position is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of the Malaysian Companies Act 2016 and SSM filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for document preparation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Malay language proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
