As the Company Secretary Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's legal and regulatory compliance, managing corporate governance, and maintaining effective communication between the board of directors and shareholders. You will be responsible for overseeing all secretarial functions, including board meetings preparation, maintaining statutory records, and advising on corporate governance best practices.
This position offers a competitive salary package ranging from RM 5,000 to RM 6,000 per month, along with the opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all secretarial functions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare and maintain statutory books and records, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries
- Organize and prepare agendas, board packs, and minutes for board meetings and general meetings
- Provide advice on corporate governance, best practices, and legal compliance
- Manage share capital administration, including allotment and transfer of shares
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as needed
- Lead and mentor the secretarial team, providing guidance and support
- Stay updated on changes in corporate legislation and advise the board accordingly
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional qualification as a Company Secretary (ICSA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in company secretarial functions
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Companies Act and related regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
