Quanta Paper Corporation is seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Mandaluyong City. In this role, you will be key in ensuring our business operations conform to local legislation, environmental standards, and internal corporate governance policies.
You will collaborate closely with various departmentsāfrom operations to human resourcesāto identify potential risks, design corrective actions, and foster an organizational culture built on integrity and accountability. The ideal candidate possesses a strong grasp of compliance frameworks within the manufacturing sector, exhibits sharp analytical capabilities, and excels in translating complex legal requirements into practical business procedures.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies across all business units.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify operational vulnerabilities and potential compliance gaps.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to local labor laws, SEC regulations, DENR environmental rules, and DOLE occupational health and safety standards.
- Act as the primary liaison and point of contact for external regulatory bodies, government agencies, and legal counsel.
- Provide guidance and training to management and staff on ethical standards, regulatory changes, and compliance protocols.
- Investigate reports of policy violations or unethical behavior, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Review, update, and draft company policies and procedures to align with changing regulatory landscape.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorās degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. Specialized certifications in Compliance or Risk Management are highly advantageous.
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in corporate compliance, internal audit, or legal affairs, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Deep understanding of Philippine regulatory frameworks, including labor codes, environmental compliance, and SEC requirements.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to deliver clear training and write comprehensive reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain objectivity and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance tracking software.
