Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage all legal and contractual matters related to complex construction projects from inception to completion.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of construction-related agreements, including subcontracts, vendor contracts, and joint venture agreements.
- Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance on project-specific issues, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with construction activities, contracts, and project delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant local and international construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings as required.
- Collaborate closely with project management, procurement, finance, and senior leadership on legal aspects impacting project success.
- Develop and implement robust legal policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance operational efficiency and compliance across the organization.
Kualifikasi
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited university.
- Admitted to practice law in Singapore or a relevant common law jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of post-qualification experience specializing in construction law, gained either in-house or with a reputable law firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, bespoke agreements).
- In-depth knowledge of local and international construction laws, regulations, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Proven ability to provide sound, practical legal advice in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
