Your Impact
As the Construction Manager, you will be the primary driver of on-site success, overseeing all phases of construction. You will ensure strict adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines while championing a culture of safety and quality. You will lead the planning, design, and implementation of advanced wastewater treatment systems specific to data center cooling and infrastructure needs.
Working closely with our team of experts, you will tackle unique engineering challenges, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver assets that power Malaysia's digital economy.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for large-scale data center projects, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of advanced wastewater treatment and management systems specific to data center cooling and infrastructure needs.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
- Enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, conducting regular site inspections to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, architects, and utility providers to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Review and approve contractor work schedules, method statements, and material submittals to maintain project integrity.
- Facilitate commissioning and handover processes, ensuring all systems, particularly water and wastewater, perform to specified standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in construction management, with at least 3 years focused on large-scale data center or mission-critical facilities projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in wastewater treatment systems, including design, installation, and commissioning within an industrial context.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction laws, regulations, standards (CIDB, DOSH, DOE), and safety protocols.
- Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer, PMP, Certified Construction Manager) is highly advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
