Gold Mantis (International) Construction Decoration Limited, a global leader in high-end interior architectural decoration, is seeking a meticulous and bilingual Contracts Executive to join our project team in Papar, Sabah. This is a pivotal role designed for a professional who excels in the commercial aspects of large-scale construction and decoration projects.
As a Contracts Executive, you will be the commercial backbone of our local operations, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met while safeguarding the company's financial interests. You will work closely with our international headquarters and local stakeholders, bridging communication gaps through your proficiency in Mandarin and English. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full lifecycle of contract administration, from initial drafting and review to final account settlement.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and process Variation Orders (VO) and prepare comprehensive cost impact assessments.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and monitor payment certificates to ensure healthy project cash flow.
- Liaise with the Chinese-speaking headquarters, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve contractual disputes and commercial issues.
- Conduct cost analysis and procurement support for specialized decoration materials and subcontracted services.
- Identify potential commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies in accordance with project timelines.
- Maintain organized and accurate contractual records, correspondence, and documentation for audit and legal compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
- Required Language(s): Professional fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential to communicate with HQ and handle technical documentation.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in contract administration within the construction or interior fit-out industry.
- Strong understanding of standard forms of contract (e.g., PAM, PWD, or FIDIC).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AutoCAD or QS software is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in Papar, Sabah, and manage tight project deadlines.
