Are you a passionate cook looking for an exciting opportunity aboard a global trading vessel? Diamond H Marine Svcs. & Shipping Agency Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cook/OS (Urgent) to join our crew on a General Cargo ship navigating worldwide routes. This role is based in Manila City, Metro Manila, and offers a dynamic work environment where you’ll be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the ship’s crew throughout their voyages.
As the on‑board cook, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining crew morale and health by delivering high‑quality dishes under limited kitchen resources. You’ll manage food inventory, adhere to strict food‑safety standards, and coordinate with the vessel’s provisioning team to ensure supplies are stocked efficiently.

Tanggung Jawab
- Plan and prepare daily meals for a crew of 20–30 members, accommodating varied dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and order provisions as needed, ensuring optimal stock levels during voyages.
- Follow strict food‑safety and sanitation protocols to guarantee a safe and hygienic galley environment.
- Coordinate with the ship’s officer to adjust menus based on available ingredients and voyage duration.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist in the overall cleanliness of the galley and surrounding areas, contributing to a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all maritime regulations and company policies regarding health, safety, and security.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certification in food handling or culinary arts is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a cook in a large‑scale kitchen, preferably in a maritime or offshore setting.
- Strong knowledge of food‑safety standards and sanitation best practices.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adapt to a rotating schedule on board a vessel.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots and supplies.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work in a multicultural environment.
