We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Cost Accountant to join our team in Paranaque City. In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial integrity, overseeing complex inventory valuation, analyzing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and driving pricing strategies that support our business growth.
As our Cost Accountant, you will bridge the gap between operations and finance. You will not only manage financial reporting but also actively participate in stock control audits and process improvements to ensure operational efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and analyze inventory valuation, ensuring accuracy in stock reporting and ledger entries.
- Calculate and monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to maintain healthy profit margins.
- Assist in the development and implementation of robust pricing strategies for our product lines.
- Perform regular stock cycle counts and internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve inventory control.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and cost analyses for the management team.
- Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing or procurement processes and propose solutions for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate product costing.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related Finance field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in cost accounting or inventory management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for operational cost drivers.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business reports.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a manufacturing or retail environment.
