Join PMX Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Cost Engineer M&E and play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of mechanical and electrical works throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-contract planning to post-contract administration.
Your expertise will be crucial in developing accurate cost estimates, conducting value engineering analyses, and implementing cost control measures to optimize project budgets. You will collaborate closely with project teams, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that all financial objectives are met without compromising on quality or timelines.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for M&E works at pre-contract and post-contract stages
- Conduct value engineering analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Monitor project costs against budgets and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Prepare and analyze cost reports for project stakeholders and management
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms
- Manage change orders and claims related to M&E works
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial reporting requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve cost-related issues and optimize resource allocation
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Engineer or similar role in M&E works
- Strong knowledge of construction cost estimation methods and industry standards
- Familiarity with Malaysian construction contracts and procurement practices
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Certification in cost engineering or quantity surveying is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
