In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our operational financial integrity. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate product costs, overseeing inventory valuation, and delivering insightful cost reporting that drives strategic decision-making. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a keen eye for variance analysis and process optimization.
You will collaborate closely with various departments to support annual budgeting, coordinate internal and external audits, and tackle ad-hoc financial projects. If you have a strong foundation in management accounting and a passion for manufacturing excellence, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and update accurate product standard costs and BOM structures.
- Perform comprehensive inventory valuation and reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy.
- Execute detailed variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead) and provide actionable insights to management.
- Support the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast processes.
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary financial schedules and documentation.
- Manage monthly closing activities related to costing and manufacturing accounts.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial reporting and cost control.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and management reports as requested by leadership.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience, preferably in a manufacturing or machining environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or SQL-based accounting software) and MS Excel (Advanced level).
- Strong understanding of Cost Accounting principles and Inventory Management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic production environment.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia for effective cross-departmental communication.
