Join Baxter Healthcare, a globally recognized leader in medical products and technologies, in a pivotal role as a Costing & Inventory Accountant. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory valuation and cost accounting processes across our manufacturing sites and warehouses in the APAC region. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to drive operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making within a dynamic multinational environment. You will work closely with supply chain and operations teams to optimize stock levels, streamline financial reporting, and maintain robust internal controls.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring accurate valuation in accordance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Perform monthly and quarterly inventory stocktakes and variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
- Prepare supporting schedules and reports for the monthly financial close process.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers to improve inventory control procedures and reduce shrinkage.
- Ensure compliance with Baxter internal controls and local regulatory requirements.
- Analyze cost drivers and provide insights to management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Costing, Inventory Accounting, or Manufacturing Accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
