Working as a Crane Operator, you’ll play a critical role on construction sites, ensuring that materials and equipment are lifted and positioned accurately and safely. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
Tanggung Jawab
- Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads according to project specifications.
- Perform pre‑operation and post‑operation inspections of crane equipment, documenting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Follow all occupational health and safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe work zone for colleagues.
- Read and interpret construction plans, rigging diagrams, and load charts to determine safe lifting configurations.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and other tradespeople to schedule lifts and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of crane usage, load weights, and daily activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, applying trained safety procedures to protect personnel and property.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum primary education (NTC/N level) or equivalent.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Good eyesight and hand‑eye coordination for precise load handling.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- No previous crane operation experience required – training will be provided.
- Willingness to obtain relevant certification (e.g., BCA‑approved crane operator license) after training.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore.
