We are seeking a meticulous Credit Control Executive to join our finance team at Exsim Development Sdn Bhd. This critical role involves managing the end-to-end billing process for our property development projects, ensuring accurate progress billings and timely collections from financiers and purchasers. You will be the key point of contact for resolving billing discrepancies, maintaining healthy cash flow cycles, and safeguarding the company's financial interests. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment where precision, communication, and strategic follow-up directly impact project viability and stakeholder relationships.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond basic collections to include analyzing aging reports, identifying payment bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements. You'll collaborate closely with project teams to align billing milestones with contractual obligations while maintaining transparent communication with external partners. Tanggung Jawab
- Process and manage progress billings for property development projects
- Conduct systematic follow-up on outstanding payments from financiers and purchasers
- Resolve billing discrepancies and payment disputes through proactive communication
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and aging schedules
- Coordinate with internal departments (project management, sales) to ensure billing accuracy
- Implement and optimize credit control procedures to minimize overdue payments
- Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and correspondence
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of credit control or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of billing processes in construction/real estate sector
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail with high numerical accuracy
- Experience with multi-currency transactions preferred
