ByteDance is seeking a high-caliber Data Center Construction Manager to join our elite Data Center Development team in Singapore. In this mission-critical role, you will be at the forefront of our global infrastructure expansion, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of data center construction projects.
As part of our rapid growth strategy, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering designs and physical execution. You will manage stakeholders, contractors, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure that our facilities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards of safety and operational excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of data center construction projects from inception through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage external contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure project deliverables meet stringent quality, timeline, and budgetary requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical design challenges during the construction phase.
- Implement and enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all construction sites.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to identify potential bottlenecks and mitigate risks proactively.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and compliance certificates.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to track expenditures and ensure project cost control.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in managing large-scale industrial or mission-critical data center construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction regulations, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex subcontractor relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or Procore).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural corporate environment.
