In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our educational platforms. You will turn raw data into actionable insights, ensuring our product teams have the reliable data they need to create impactful learning experiences for students and educators.
As a Data Engineer, you will work at the intersection of software engineering and data science. You will design robust data pipelines, optimize database performance, and implement best practices for data warehousing and ETL processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using modern tools and frameworks.
- Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes to support high-volume data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and product managers to understand data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing strategies to improve application performance and reduce latency.
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) to manage data infrastructure, storage, and compute resources.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers to ensure code quality and best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
