Sigma Global Technology is seeking a skilled and proactive Database Engineer to join our team on a high-impact, 3-month project based in the prestigious Treasury Tower, Jakarta. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running immediately to help optimize and maintain our critical data infrastructure.
As a Database Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our database systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to streamline data operations and support our business-critical applications. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain robust database structures and schemas to support project requirements.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective tuning strategies.
- Execute data migration tasks and ensure data integrity throughout the transition periods.
- Develop and manage backup/recovery procedures to guarantee business continuity.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and improve application database performance.
- Ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices for access control.
- Generate periodic data reports to support stakeholder decision-making processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Database Administration or Engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and deep experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with NoSQL databases and data warehousing solutions is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of database indexing, query optimization, and architectural design.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex database issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site at Treasury Tower and onboard immediately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data security.
