Join our dynamic team at S&R Membership Shopping as a DC - Merchandise Allocator and play a crucial role in our retail operations success. As a Merchandise Allocator, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory distribution across our distribution center to ensure product availability meets customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely allocation and transfer of items designated for markdown and those approaching expiration dates. This position requires close coordination with various departments including purchasing, sales, and store operations to maintain efficient inventory flow.
As a key player in our supply chain, you'll analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to make informed allocation decisions. You'll also be responsible for monitoring stock rotation, implementing inventory control measures, and contributing to our overall operational efficiency.

Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal distribution across the distribution center
- Coordinate timely allocation and transfer of items designated for markdown and near expiration
- Analyze sales data and inventory trends to make informed allocation decisions
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize product availability
- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and store operations departments to maintain efficient inventory flow
- Monitor stock rotation and ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures are followed
- Generate reports on inventory allocation, markdown effectiveness, and expiration management
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management processes
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in retail merchandise allocation, inventory management, or supply chain operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and inventory reports
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental coordination
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of retail inventory control principles and stock rotation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
