Tanggung Jawab
- Assist dentists during complex dental procedures including oral surgeries and restorative treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to infection control protocols
- Manage patient flow, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide chairside support during treatments, including taking vital signs and administering local anesthesia under supervision
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care instructions, and preventive dentistry
- Monitor inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal clinic operations
- Assist in radiography procedures and maintain digital patient records using clinic management software
Kualifikasi
- Certificate/Diploma in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification recognized by Singapore Dental Council
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in dental surgery or general dentistry setting
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and clinical procedures
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and infection control protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and digital record-keeping systems
- Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in fast-paced clinical environments
