Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Safety Management System (SMS) for tanker vessels
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international maritime regulations and industry standards
- Monitor vessel operations to identify and address potential safety and environmental risks
- Coordinate with vessel crews and shore-based teams to promote a strong safety culture
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the company adapts accordingly
- Act as the primary point of contact for maritime safety matters between the company and regulatory authorities
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Naval Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maritime operations, preferably with tanker vessels
- Valid certification as Designated Person Ashore (DPA) or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and other relevant maritime regulations
- Strong understanding of tanker vessel operations and safety management systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
